Loud Alarm Clocks
No One Can Possibly Sleep Through These Loud Alarm Clocks
For some people an ordinary alarm clock just won't do
it, no matter how close to the bed they put the clock it is not going to wake them up. It might wake everyone else
in the house up but nothing short of a cataclysmic explosion or a very loud alarm clock is going to wake some
people up. While this may seem a little odd it is more than inconvenient for the person who has this problem to
deal with. It can mean being late for work and the loss of a job, most employers do not take the excuse of " I
didn't hear the alarm clock" as a reason for being late for work.
For many people being unable to hear the alarm clock can be due to having a hearing impairment, for others it is caused by the fact
that they sleep so deep that outside sounds do not penetrate into their subconscious mind. Whatever the cause
there are ways to combat the problem and make sure that these people can use an alarm to get up in the morning.
There has been plenty of research done to create loud alarm clocks that will wake up pretty much anyone.
One of the more popular extra loud alarm clocks is the
Sonic Boom alarm clock, perfect for someone who is working too many hours or has limited hearing. This clock has an
alarm that hits 113 decibels and comes with a high power vibrator that goes under your pillow just to make sure you
get up. If you want to get an idea just how loud this is, the average football stadium crowd is around 110 db and a
gunshot registers around 150 db. If this does not get you out of bed nothing short of someone physically throwing
you out of bed will.
If you want something a little different in a loud alarm
clock that can add a little novelty to your early morning wake up, then perhaps you should consider the Police
siren alarm. This alarm clock give you to the count of three and if you don't hit the shut off button or the snooze
button you and everyone in the house is treated to the wail of a police siren and a flashing blue light.
Loud alarm clocks come in many shapes and sizes some of them have extra loud buzzers or beepers,
many of them add extra features such as flashing lights to get the heavy sleeper or person with a hearing
impairment to wake up. Many of them start off relatively low but the longer you leave them on the louder they
get.
For many people not only is hearing the alarm clock and issue but
actually getting up is a problem. They keep hitting the alarm clock snooze button over and over until they end up
being late for work. To combat this there are fun clocks like the Puzzle clock that releases three spring- loaded
puzzle pieces from the top of it. The fun part is you cannot shut the alarm off until you find them and put them
all back together on top of the clock. With the broad array of alarm clocks available today getting out of bed in
the morning should no longer be an issue.
